In the work same same 2020, Susanne Wehr uses photographs found on the internet of people of colour as well as white women and men. Through the process of reversing the photographs into negatives, white-skinned persons appear dark and dark-skinned persons white. Using digital copying techniques and layers of different portraits the negatives are transformed into black portraits of white people and white portraits of black people.
